Unfortunately no... Different brands bought 18+ months apart, all with
UL labels.

Nope, no dimmer switches... Just the standard on/off, correctly grounded
circuit. Although I guess one could argue that "off" is a form of dim.

Are any of those bulbs that caught fire on a dimmer switch? Apparently, 
you can't use
CF bulbs with dimmer switches unless the CF bulb specifically says that 
it will work
with a dimmer switch...otherwise, it causes fires...even if you leave 
the dimmer on the
brightest setting all the time, the fire hazard remains...Tom
