After reading Bruce's note - I now know that I'm doing this all wrong.

I thought that Spam was cooked in a frying pan, or on a grille - either way,
it's not permitted in my house as I cannot stand the stuff.

OH - you mean the OTHER Spam! Can't stand that <expletive> either ;)

Cheers,
Joe

PS: Actually, it seems that COMP.SYS.HP.MPE is mined very little for
addresses. Spammers have tried to mine our newsgroups but can't get past
the Username/Password required to get to the NNTP Feed ;) Only one server
can get that data without authentication, and Mark's NNTP server at CCCD is
it - everyone else needs a username and password ;) It's nice to see the
error messages in the event log where the spammers get caught in the
authentication web. Unfortunately, they just go and mine another,
unprotected server.
