Hi Jim,

Subsystem 43 is unlikely, as there doesn't appear to be a subystem with
that decimal number, nor is there one with the number $43.

Nonetheless, I looked at all the error messages in the system error catalog
for errors -11, -15, and -22 (decimal).
Here are the likely candidates, grouped by -11, then -15, then -22,
with the subsystem number at the start of each line (in hex).

Don't know if this will help, however, since the "subsystem 43" wouldn't
apply to any of them, although subsystem $8f is #143 (File System).

-22
$6f The RENDEZVOUS for the I/O request has already been done.
$7f An invalid port number was specified on a request message.
$8f Intrinsic layer; missing item number or return variable.
$99 The link field of the current extent block does not point to an extent bloc
$c3 Failure occurred on FGETINFO (OUTPUTFILE).
$e7 Get_device_information was asked for the nth device/class without first
$ef Printer storage manager; timeout while waiting for I/O completion.

-11
$6f The subqueue specified is used by the I/O system.
$7f The AutoChanger Device Manager was configured with an invalid hardware addr
$8f Intrinsic layer; FLOCK is unable to LOCK file.
$99 The internal timer field of the UFID does not match the internal timer fiel
$c3 The ascending/descending code is illegal.
$e7 Both device and class were specified to Get/set_device_information.
$ef Printer storage manager; internal error, no buffer available.

-15
$6f The I/O completion port must have 32 subqueues.
$7f The AutoChanger Device Manager was unable to bind to it's lower manager (SC
$8f Intrinsic layer; no NOWAIT IO for specific file.
$99 Label Management was trying to allocate an entry which is not marked as fre
$c3 The input record is too long.
$e7 No kind of device specifier was passed to Get/set_device_information.
$ef Printer storage manager; could not open or map in the printer devicefile.

So, if your subsystem was really #143, the 3 error messages would be:
-11 Intrinsic layer; FLOCK is unable to LOCK file.
-15 Intrinsic layer; no NOWAIT IO for specific file.
-22 Intrinsic layer; missing item number or return variable.

However, none of those apply to "attachio".
