If the drive cannot be initialized by Volutil then "DSTAT ALL" will not show
the drive in question.

As I said in an earlier email, the only way to see if this drive is being
recognized by MPEiX is to reboot the boot and at the ISL> prompt go into
DISCUTIL or run MAPPER to see all the IO devices for that box.

And what does "DSTAT ALL" show ?  Was drive online at last system startup ?
Also, run conmsg.mpexl.telesup and then print condump to see if there was
any error at last boot for that drive.
