As one who lives in Alabama, I would like to add my .02 worth:
a: i fail to understand how only the display of the commandments represents
the endorsement by the government of a specific aspect of a specific
reglion. After all, there are numerous place where reference is made to some
aspect of reglion.
b: i question Judge Moore disregarding the federal court order, as a more
important issue. If a judge, state or federal, disrespects a specific order
of a higher court, then that respresents an attack on one part of the
overall governmenting embodiment of our country. Moore has the option of
seeking appeal to a higher court but regardless of what he contends; he, as
a judge, has a duty and responsiblity to open the order. I m sure that he,
as a judge, would take an extremely dim view on anyone who disobeyed his
court order.
again, just my .02 worth
