The file that has caused the most trouble is PERFLOG.MPEXL.SYS. Under normal
circumstances MPE won't mind if it isn't on ldev 1 because it isn't required
until after all of the volumes are mounted. If you need to boot in
single-disk mode or it is on a disk that has crashed you are in trouble.
