[log in to unmask][log in to unmask], 16 Feb 1999 12:33:44 -0600328_US-ASCII I am trying to explain to my coworkers exactly what MPEX, Security 3000 and
VeAudit are. These people are not familiar with the HP 3000 but are familiar
with IBM S/390, Unix, NT and Novell. Are there any comparable products on
these systems so that my coworkers can get a better idea?

Thanks in advance,52_16Feb199912:33:[log in to unmask]

Yes - I did.

-> I use an HP3000 compatible ZIPper, which you can get from
ftp://ftp.nha.co.za
Thanks to Lars A. who pointed me there.

-> To send them to the PC you could then use several different methods
(like FTP, SAMBA/iX or even Netware/iX could be still of help)
I am using TELAMONS freeware MAIL tool to send the compressed files.

Cheers,
Friedrich

Thema: Compressed MPE files on a PC

Anybody compressing files on an HP3000 and then tranferring them and
uncompressing them on a PC? If so, how?

Any chance this could be accomplished with Orbit or Telemon's LZW
compression?

Thanks in advance!
