All I'm trying to do is:
1) Open a file
2) Use FFILEINFO to find out what it's POSIX name is
3) Move it out of the way with FRENAME
4) Create a new file with the original name

Things were going smoothly. I HPFOpened the file, did the FFILEINFO call and

Bob,
I was sure someone posted these pin-out details recently, but couldn't
locate it. However the quote below from John Zoltak suggests just 2,3,& 7???

Ron,

I don't know of any reason why you could not use a PC, it's serial port
and a termulator like Reflection for the console. You may have to make
an adapter from a 25 pin to a 9 pin rs-232 connector using 2,3,7 to
connect the console cable to the PC's serial connection. And set
Reflection to do 70/92 emulation.

I was wondering if you could use a PC as the systems console. Part two
of the question is what do I have to do to make this happen.

Thanks!!
