A somewhat related topic is setting PC clocks to your HP3000's clock. If
you have Samba/iX running you can easily use your HP3000 to set the clock
on PCs from the DOS prompt, or from a bat file. Assuming "hewey" is the
name of your HP3000, the DOS command is:

     net time \\hewey /set /yes

Using the above and the previously mentioned XNTP package, you can have
your HP3000's clock set to the HP9000's time, and have your PC's clocks set
to the HP3000's time, hopefully keeping everyone in sync.
