There is indeed an "Apache Server for Dummies", which I spotted in
a local bookstore the other week. Details are on the ...for Dummies
web site at http://www.dummies.com - just do a search for the word
"Apache". The bulk of the discussion in the book is based on the
UNIX version of Apache, but most should be equally applicable to
the MPE/iX port (and others).

I'm still getting to grips with Apache myself (on WinNT at the
moment), but could your access problem be due to no directory
directive for your /APACHE/PUB/htdocs/PAGES/DOCS directory in
the Apache access.conf file? Just a thought.
