This one is not directly relate your question
But, You could user QUERY save command to save IMAGE
database to flat files on HP (self describe file)
Server Side HP3000

Next step on client side,
I have ODBC/32 with SCHEMA EDITOR from MINISOFT
you could modified some field, like implied decimal point..
Then Link this file to MS Access 97

from access 97 You can view whole file,
now you can cut & paste to NOTEPAD...
