I detected the problem from home on Sunday morning. Since I couldn't stand
not knowing the details, I went in to work late Sunday afternoon to check.

The Series 6000 FW SCSI cabinet hosting the two disks for Usenet seems to be
without power. All lights are dark, with no fan or drive noise. But I
confirmed that the incoming power plug is hot. So I guess the cabinet's
power supply is kaput.

Hopefully our HP CE will be calling soon.
