I am pleased to announce that the 13th release of the HP 3000 simulator is
now available from the HP simulators Web site:

  http://simh.trailing-edge.com/hp/

This release adds a simulation of the Series 58 CPU, GIC, ADCC, and
associated HP-IB peripherals. With this release, it is now possible to run
MPE V/E up to and including the final MPE release for the classic systems,
version G.40.00. A new ready-to-run MPE V/E kit is also available from the
site.

Details of the new devices and simulator changes are given in the release
notes and the User's Guide that accompany the source and binary
distributions on the site.

I am grateful to David Collins and the HP Computer Museum for their
assistance in making the kit possible.

                                      -- Dave
