My version does not seem to support wildcard transfers (Version 6.4.4.1).
Apparently I don't have my help setup correctly to check into that.

1. how about doing a zip or tar on the hp3000, then transfer the one file,
then unzip/untar once you have it.

2. Can you get FTP to the HP? Then you could do wildcarding with ftp.
  Assuming that your sources are ASCII and not QEDIT files.

3. Do you have a Reflection option?
